Situated in the heart of EAA AirVenture just west of AeroShell Square, Member Village is a place you’ll visit over and over throughout the week, and with good reason. Here you can join or renew your membership; get answers to virtually any EAA or AirVenture question; attend special members-only events; visit exhibits for all the EAA member programs, benefits, and services; find out how to get started in flight training; see unique aircraft displays; try out flight simulators; check your e-mail at the Internet Cafe; and reserve the flight of your life on the EAA B-17.

There’s more: In the North Tent, you can:

• Put your mark on the EAA Member Map!

• Learn about EAA’s new student membership for youths up to age 17.

• Meet EAA Air Academy camp staff members and learn about the offerings. You can even arrange for a tour of the lodge.

• Enter members-only drawings with coupons in your Perks Booklet, received at the admission gates (or at Member Village). Drawing boxes are located throughout the Member Village tents.

• Register for a two-year lease on a Diamond DA40, the grand prize in EAA’s membership promotion. The plane is on display.

• Answer aviation-related trivia questions correctly and win a prize at the Wheel of Fun.

• Test-fly the X-plane, the newest flight simulator software customized for EAA Young Eagles and student members.

• Show your solidarity as EAA Members Unite Against User Fees. Wear your button (available at admission gates and all Member Village locations) and get your photo taken at the EAA Against User Fees display. Photos will be displayed throughout the week.

• Check the weather before heading out at the WxWorx kiosk.

• Learn all about EAA’s Member Partner Programs, including Ford, Hertz, Enterprise, Falcon Insurance, AirFleet Capital, John Deere, and U.S. Bank.

• Visit the new Learn to Fly Center for information on getting started in flight training. Get a free student sport pilot certificate Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Check your e-mail at the members-only Internet Cafe.

• Attend members-only after-hours events—Members can attend after-hours events that include appearances by special guests!
