Share your story with Timeless Voices
Under
the banner "Let No Story Go Untold," EAA’s Timeless Voices
of Aviation program records and preserves aviation history by capturing
the memories of people who represent the entire spectrum of aviation.
The idea is to preserve their history, thereby preserving aviation
history from those who lived it.
Whether you have served
as aircrew in the military, built an ultralight, or flown into space,
the Timeless Voices program is interested in hearing your story. Every
story is a thread in the rich tapestry comprising aviation’s heritage.
Beyond preserving the
recordings for future generations, Timeless Voices is also an
educational program. The interviews collected are edited and made
available for free as educational and historic resources for family
members, students, teachers, historians, and others via EAA’s Timeless
Voices website, www.TimelessVoices.org.
The interviews are also a part of various museum initiatives including a
dedicated Timeless Voices theater.
Visit www.AirVenture.org
this week to view a newly recorded interview posted daily.
If you want to share your
story, stop by the Timeless Voices tent off Wittman Road in the Warbirds
area, directly north of the EAA Ford Tri-Motor. Participants receive a
copy of their interview in the mail.
