EAA is looking to hear from EAA members who have (1) achieved their dream of flight in particularly cost-effective ways and (2) would like to tell the aviation world how they did it. The recently announced Affordable Flight Center (AFC) at AirVenture Oshkosh 2008 will feature numerous examples of low-cost flight, from homebuilts to bargain vintage aircraft, light planes to ultralights.
"EAA has always been about making flight more affordable and accessible," said Ron Wagner, who's organizing the AFC. "If you have economically built or restored an aircraft, or found a unique, affordable way to own an aircraft, we want to hear your story so we can share it with others through the Affordable Flight Center."
If you've found a way to obtain an aircraft for less than $10,000, $20,000, or $30,000, let Ron know at rwagner@EAA.org, or give him a call at 920-426-6122.
