Air Traffic Control
 |
|
Teams of controllers in the Oshkosh tower manage arrivals on three runways. |
The information presented here was
created by veteran Oshkosh Air Traffic Controllers to give you - the
pilot - a better understanding of the Air Traffic Control procedures in
use at AirVenture. We hope that after reviewing these pages, you will
have a better understanding of:
- What you can expect as you arrive and
depart Oshkosh, and
- What we in ATC expect from you.
Remember, this information is NOT a
substitute for the Special Flight Procedures AirVenture Oshkosh NOTAM.
Thoroughly review the AirVenture Oshkosh NOTAM prior to your departure
and ensure that you have a copy of the NOTAM with you before arriving
at Ripon.
Please take the time to "brush
up" on your flying skills before embarking on your journey to
AirVenture. Being comfortable with your flying abilities will go a long
way in making your experience more enjoyable!
We look forward to working with you this
summer and hope this information helps you during those first busy
moments of your visit to AirVenture.
Each year we work to improve our Air
Traffic Procedures through feedback from you, our customers. Please take
the time to provide input on these procedures by submitting Feedback
to ATC. Please feel free to provide input on what worked
well and areas that we could improve upon.
