A Monument to Aviation Enthusiasts
Honor
the memory of that special someone whose support and passion for aviation
positively impacted your life by dedicating a plaque on EAA’s Memorial Wall.
Located on the edge of Pioneer Airport near the Fergus Chapel, the Memorial
Wall provides a dignified place for families and friends to remember and honor
these loved ones. Its centerpiece is a monument formed of thousands of stones
brought to Oshkosh from EAA members' home states and countries. On both sides
of the centerpiece, bronze plaques are installed annually to honor individuals
whose names were submitted for permanent recognition.
The Memorial Wall is
our way of saying, “thank you,” to them for sharing their talents and
enthusiasm and for inspiring a new generation of passionate aviation
enthusiasts.
Join Our 2013 Dedication Ceremony
EAA’s annual dedication service at AirVenture
honors the legacy of the Memorial Wall's inductees from the previous year. This
year’s ceremony will be held on the last Sunday of AirVenture, Sunday, August 4, at 11 a.m. Guests should arrive no later than 10:30 a.m. This heartwarming service includes a poignant reading of the names
in honor of the new inductees. It concludes with a breathtaking “missing man”
formation flight overhead along with the playing of “Taps.”

have your special tribute recognized during this year’s dedication ceremony
at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, your order must be in by Monday, April 8, 2013.

the service for guests to make individual rubbings of the plaque.
