Key to the City

The "Key to the City" Award was created by EAA and the City of Oshkosh to Honor distinguished personalities for contributions to the promotion and support of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and the aviation community. A unique marble and glass "Key to the City" sculpture was specially designed for the occasion. The recipients' names are also inscribed on a permanent plaque that hangs in City Hall. The large plaque will establish a public record of past recipients and become a permanent reminder of the recipient's contributions.

Past Key to the City recipients:

2007  Audrey Poberezny
2006 Jack Pelton
2005 John Monnett
2004 Chuck Yeager
2003 Paul Poberezny
2002 Cliff Robertson
