We know you’re in town for
AirVenture, but there are plenty of other things to do on your down time
in Oshkosh.
- Oshkosh Public
Museum: History exhibits and hands-on activities. Tuesday -
Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Sunday 1:00 - 4:30 p.m.
- Paine Art Center
& Gardens: World-class art collections and hands-on
activities for children, housed in a 1920s mansion with 3 acres of
gardens. Tuesday - Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Oshkosh Community
Playground "Little Oshkosh": A 30,000-square-foot
community-built playground on the lakeshore of Menominee Park.
Features a lighthouse, castle, airplane, gardens, and more. Open
daily until 11:00 p.m.
- Oshkosh Community
Children’s Zoo, located in Menominee Park: Open 7:00 a.m. to
dusk. Free admission.
- The Outlet Shoppes
at Oshkosh: More than 48 stores to choose from! Featuring the
Gap, Old Navy, American Girl, Bath & Body Works, Tommy Hilfiger,
Eddie Bauer, Polo Ralph Lauren, Lands’ End, and more!
- Settler’s Mill
Miniature Golf Course, located directly next to The Outlet
Shoppes at Oshkosh: Open Sunday - Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.,
Friday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 11 p.m.
- Grand Opera House:
A restored 1883 Victorian theater featuring a variety of
entertainment and events year-round.
- Gallery Walk
through historic downtown Oshkosh: First Saturday of every month
from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
- Waterfest Concert
Series: Vince Vance & The Valients/Boogie and The Yoyoz/Herman’s
Hermits performing Thursday, July 31, at the Leach Amphitheater,
Riverside Park. Gates open at 5:45 p.m.
- Oshkosh Public
Library: An original 1900 building plus the 1994 expansion.
Kidspace for young children. Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.,
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Sunday 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
- Historic Morgan
House: This Queen Anne-style home features original woodwork,
wallpaper, and fireplaces. The museum is home to the Winnebago
County Historical and Archeological Society. Open Saturdays 9:00
a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and Sundays 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. from June through
August.
- Oshkosh Marcus
