The Mark Gannuce family learn the new rules regulating where bikes can be ridden and parked at AirVenture 2009 from Aiko Schatz, gate security.

July 26, 2009 - Oshkosh, Wisconsin - If you have a bicycle, you’re welcome to use it at AirVenture, but not beyond the AirVenture gates and fences or on the flightline. Bikes are allowed in Camp Scholler and on the roads that lead to AirVenture grounds. In addition, people who park their bicycles at the EAA AirVenture Museum can take the shuttle bus to the Bus Park outside the Main Admission Gate.

There are six locations for parking bicycles: near the Ultralight Barn; at the F Lot, between Camp Scholler and Exhibit Hangar D; outside the new Main Gate; east of the Bus Park, near Forest Home Avenue; at Admission Gate 346 near the Warbirds area; and at the EAA AirVenture Museum.

FUTURE AIRVENTURE DATES: 2014: July 28-Aug. 3; 2015: July 20-26; 2016: July 25-31; 2017: July 24-30
