A
sure sign of just how close we are to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2010, EAA’s
Camp Scholler officially opened at 8 a.m. on Friday, June 25. We’re
only a month away from opening day! In the days leading up to the start
of “The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration,” tens of thousands
of people will create an “Aviation City,” whose residents enjoy the
unique camaraderie at EAA’s drive-in campground.
“This is my second year volunteering,”
said a woman from nearby Berlin, Wisconsin.” We have lived near here
for years but we have never camped on the grounds during AirVenture. My
husband is just starting flight lessons and we realized we are missing
out on the whole experience.”
Early camper registration takes place off
the Forest Home Avenue entrance, just south of the main gate. For more

options, click here.
