This year's Women Soar You Soar program, now in its sixth year, is shaping up to be one of the best thanks to the number of quality applications pouring in from young women and the generosity shown through scholarship contributions.

The three-day event, scheduled July 25-27 at the EAA Aviation Center in Oshkosh, is designed to engage, inspire, and educate young women from grades 9-12 to pursue their dreams in aviation and beyond. The program includes activities such as flight simulation, workshops, career exploration, and sessions approximately 40 outstanding women and other mentors.

Contributing to this accomplishment is the engagement shown by The Ninety-Nines, Inc., an international organization that promotes and provides networking and scholarship opportunities for women in aviation. Thanks to its partnership with EAA, The Ninety-Nines have been promoting Women Soar You Soar by speaking at high schools, highlighting the program at chapter meetings, and through other events they participate in. They are also sponsoring one worthy young woman attending this year's Women Soar You Soar.
