The rains over the past few weeks in Oshkosh have added a challenge to preparations for EAA AirVenture 2010, but things are still going well heading toward next Monday's opening day.
Each day, arrivals by ground and air are welcomed to Wittman Regional Airport. Those people are receiving assistance to locations for set-up.
"We've had to modify our procedures somewhat because of recent weather, but we're making sure everybody can get in and set up, whether it is a camper, aircraft, or exhibitor," said Tom Poberezny, EAA Chairman/President
EAA will continue to update conditions to provide accurate information and assistance to all those traveling to Oshkosh for the event, which officially runs July 26-August 1.
