EAA AirVenture Oshkosh RSS FeedAaron Tippin to Perform at WAI Breakfast
Country music star Aaron Tippin will perform his hit, "Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly," at the Women in Aviation International Breakfast on Friday, July 30, in the Nature Center. The breakfast begins at 8 a.m. The song reached #2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart and also peaked at #20 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Tippin's first entry into the Top 20. Tippin, who soloed on his 16th birthday, became a commercial, multi-engine instrument-rated pilot by the age of 18 and is also helicopter-qualified. A certified A&P mechanic, he owns a 1941 Stearman, a 1946 J-3 Cub, and 1959 Helio Courier. For information on the breakfast or to purchase tickets, please visit WAI's booth in Hangar B, Booth 2041.
