Flight demonstrations, technology forums,
and the latest developments of electric-powered aircraft will be a major
focus during this year’s AirVenture Oshkosh.
A full schedule of events throughout the
week include afternoon showcase flights each day; evening flight demos;
displays and forums in AirVenture’s Aviation Learning Center; and a
full-fledged Electric Aircraft Symposium presented by GE Aviation on
Friday, July 30.
“Electric propulsion will play an increasing role in aviation in this
century, and only at Oshkosh can people meet and hear from the
innovators themselves and find out more about what it means for
individual aircraft owners and pilots,” said Tom Poberezny, EAA
chairman/president.
The forums and presentations scheduled
throughout the week feature a variety of innovators – from those with
electric airplane concepts to those with active prototypes. Check your
EAA Info Guide for the times and places, or visit www.AirVenture.org/schedule.
