In May, EAA and the Academy of Modeling Aeronautics (AMA) signed a memorandum of understanding; the two organizations will collaborate on a wide range of issues including youth engagement and encouraging local chapters to work together to promote participation in aviation.

On Sunday night, EAA President/Chairman Tom Poberezny and AMA President Dave Mathewson were on hand to dedicate the new exhibit of aircraft models, Little Wings, Big Dreams, in the EAA AirVenture Museum, with more than 300 people in attendance. The yearlong exhibit highlights the ingenuity of model aircraft builders in all areas of modeling.
