Patricia Massimini of Stevensville, Maryland, took first place with her quilt block The First Century of Naval Aviation in the Aviation Quilt Contest.

Patricia Massimini of Stevensville, Maryland, was named winner of the 2010 Aviation Quilt Block Contest. Her entry, The First Century of Naval Aviation, honors the thousands of naval aviators who served over the past 100 years, including her husband who was a Marine pilot.

Patricia’s work, along with the other finalists’, is now on display in the EAA AirVenture Museum and will be for the next year.
