It's becoming more apparent every day: Electric-powered aircraft will play a prominent role in the future of recreational and general aviation. EAA will again play a leadership role in the new technology at AirVenture Oshkosh this summer at its EAA Innovation Center, supported by GE. The Innovation Center will be housed in the former Aviation Learning Center, on Wittman Road across from the EAA Homebuilders Headquarters.
This facility will include a presentation area dedicated to programs about electric-powered flight along with indoor and outdoor exhibits displaying state-of-the-art, electric-powered aircraft and support systems. EAA is looking for people or businesses who have (or are developing) an electric-powered aircraft to display - at no cost - in this area. EAA also seeks forum presenters on various aspects of electric-powered flight. Those interested should contact Ron Wagner at 920-426-6122 or via e-mail, or Ashley Julka at 920-426-6298 or via e-mail.
