EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2011 draws to a close on Sunday, and people from all corners of the globe will head home.

But some will leave with great prizes, won in the EAA Share the Spirit Sweepstakes and the EAA Young Eagles Raffle.

The good news for those who have yet to enter is that you still have time to do so through Sunday morning (7/31).

Drawings for these great prizes will take place Sunday afternoon.

Grand prize of the 2011 EAA Share the Spirit Sweepstakes is a Cessna 162 Skycatcher, plus fuel for the year (up to $5,000) courtesy of Shell Aviation.

Other prizes include a 2011 Coleman CTE184 Hybrid Travel Trailer from Camping World; a HotSeat Flight Sim GTX Extreme PC Bundle; a Bose 3·2·1 GSX Series III DVD Home Entertainment System; a Canon EOS 50D Kit with Lens; and a Hamilton Men’s Khaki Pilot Automatic 46 mm Watch.

Every donation to the EAA Sweepstakes directly supports EAA programs.

Young Eagles raffle
This year’s grand prize is a 2011 Ford Mustang GT convertible, and proceeds support EAA’s Young Eagles program and other youth aviation education initiatives.

Only 1,500 tickets are available for $100 each, and the drawings will be held at 4:30 p.m. today. Other prizes include four cash prizes ranging from $500 to $5,000. The Mustang, valued at $42,000, is provided with assistance from Ford Motor Company and Kocourek Ford of Wausau, Wisconsin.
