Next week during AirVenture, EAA Founder Paul Poberezny will host a pair of test flight symposiums with special guest speakers Charlie Precourt and Terry Lutz. They'll be in the HAI Forum Building 5 at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, and the EAA Welcome Center at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26.
Charlie Precourt was recently selected for the Astronaut Hall of Fame, and after a long career with NASA and the Air Force, is retiring as a colonel. Terry Lutz is a test pilot for Airbus, and flew the A380 to AirVenture in 2009. He also built and flies a Van's RV-8. Both are experienced test pilots.
Everyone is invited to take part in a symposium for a great educational lesson in flight-testing experimental airplanes.
