The names of six lucky winners of the 2012 Young Eagles Raffle were drawn Sunday afternoon at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. EAA President/CEO Rod Hightower and Kevin Keling of the Ford Motor Company announced the winners.
The grand prize, a 2013 Ford Mustang GT convertible was awarded to Darren Pleasance of Bend, Oregon.
Cash prizes were also awarded with $5,000 going to Wayne Michelli of Kingsport, Tennessee; $2,500 to Jon Cermin of Dresser, Wisconsin; $1,000 to Barry Davis of Carrolton, Georgia; and $500 to Helen Weaver of Plantation, Florida.
