AEROBICS
Get your day off to a good start and your energy soaring by joining us for a low impact aerobic class. The class is taught by certified instructor Michael Toft. Classes are held at the Theater in the Woods. No advance registration is required. Loose clothing and comfortable shoes are suggested.

Diaper changing stations are located at several areas along the flight line and at the Kiddie Kockpit next to Theater in the Woods. Baby Nursing facility located next to Medical Services.

BANKING SERVICES/CURRENCY EXCHANGE
EAA Members may cash checks (up to $200) or exchange currency at the windows located at the southeast corner inside the EAA Wearhouse.

Oshkosh Transit System
During AirVenture, the Oshkosh Transit System provides shuttle buses from the downtown Transit Center and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus to the convention grounds. View the schedule

Appleton - Shuttles are available from the Outagamie County Airport and various motels for a nominal fee. View the schedule, or call Nationwide Travelers 920-734-5620.

Fond du Lac - Shuttle buses are available from Fond du Lac County Airport for a nominal fee. Call Fond du Lac Convention and Visitor’s Bureau at 920-923-3010 or 1-800-937-9123.

Appleton, Kimberly, Menasha, Neenah – Shuttle bus will run twice daily from various hotels in each of these cities for a nominal fee. Call Lamers Bus Lines to make reservations at 1-800-236-1240. View the schedule

Green Bay, De Pere, Kaukauna, Little Chute - Shuttle bus will run once daily Monday – Thursday and twice daily Friday – Sunday. The pick-ups and drop-offs are from the Austin Straubel Airport in Green Bay, and various hotels in Green Bay, De Pere, Kaukauna and Little Chute. This is service is supplied for a nominal fee. Milwaukee, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Appleton, New London, Waupaca, Stevens Point, Wausau - Once daily, 365-days a year this line run makes stops in these cities for a nominal fee. Call Lamers Bus Lines to make reservations at 1-800-261-6600. View the schedule

Located on the North side of Exhibit Hangar A. Information window hours for 2009 will be posted as they become available.

EAA COMMUNICATIONS CENTER

The EAA Communications Center is staffed 24-hours to serve AirVenture attendees and those who need information on EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The Communications Center, or Comm Center, is available for general questions regarding AirVenture and as an emergency message relay service. Emergency messages are broadcast through the center's PA system throughout the day or as needed. Emergency messages can also be relayed to those staying in EAA's Camp Scholler.

In addition to the emergency messaging service, the Comm Center is also a key point of contact for information on the event. Comm Center volunteers have telephone and radio contact with all areas of AirVenture and can normally answer just about any question about AirVenture. With many 20 and 30-year volunteers, Comm Center is a great source for AirVenture information.

EAA RADIO
EAA Radio AM1210 broadcasts continuous information from the EAA AirVenture site. Daily programming includes news from AirVenture, traffic and weather updates, interviews with aviation personalities, updates on EAA programs, AirVenture Forum highlights, live coverage of the daily air show and Theater in the Woods and much more.

EAA Radio will broadcast 24 hours a day on AM 1210. A link will be made available here as well as on the AirVenture home page when EAA Radio begins broadcasting and throughout the event.

GROUP REGISTRATION
Groups of 25 or more arriving via chartered buses, charter passenger aircraft, etc., should contact EAA in advance for special arrangements. Please use this online form.

HANDICAPPED SERVICES

  • Handicapped auto parking, aircraft parking/camping, restrooms, showers and tram services are available.
  • For more detailed information, contact AirVenture Headquarters at 920-426-6540.
  • One-seat personal electric convenience vehicles, specifically designed for the handicapped, are allowed on the convention site. Automobiles, golf carts, motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles, personal transportation machines such as Segways, and all-terrain vehicles are not recognized as authorized vehicles for the handicapped and are not allowed on the convention site.

Medical Services building is located northeast of the FAA Control Tower and just east of EAA Press Headquarters. Hours will be posted as they become available.

OSHKOSH POST OFFICE INFORMATION
The following mailing address is for those people attending AirVenture 2009, that are NOT exhibitors, and would like to receive postal items on the convention site. The Oshkosh Post Office will accept letters and packages (including camping gear) that are addressed properly.

This is NOT the mailing address for use by any Exhibitors/Vendors.

On July 26, at 9 a.m., all postal items will be brought to the Postal Station on the convention site, for pick up only, no outgoing mail on that day. Prior to July 26, all items will need to be picked up at the main Oshkosh Post Office which is located (north side of the airport) at 1025 W. 20th Ave., in Oshkosh.
Saturday, July 25 hours for pick-up at the Oshkosh Post Office will be from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Items may be picked up starting Thursday, July 23. The GES Service center is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. This is not the mailing address for use by any exhibitors/vendors.
