Chris Fitzsimmons a.k.a. "Elfitz"

Chris was one of those EAA babies that attended his first Oshkosh before he attended his first birthday party. His parents were partners in Continental Airshow Productions whose iconic red trailer has served as the airshow control center for many years at AirVenture. Chris learned to handle wire early and by the time he was 14 he was looking for a new kind of volunteer opportunity.

Chris met Digital Dave and Afterburner Al in that dark public address amplifier room and soon EAA Radio was born. At Chris’s tender age of 14 he became EAA Radio’s chief engineer and continues to serve in that capacity today. Chris, (who plays with Afterburner Al in their Rock Band game band "Sister Wife") his wife Anna and their daughter Ava reside in Elgin, IL.
