Edmund G. Leuter a.k.a. "Fast Eddie"
Fast Eddie joined EAA Radio in 2003 and is the older half of the Leuter Brotherhood. (brother Dave is a EAA Radio charter member) Eddie first became involved in air shows in the mid-80s as a sound technician and occasional announcer. In 1994 Eddie decided to "turn professional" in order to share his enthusiasm and love for all things aviation with others.
Fast Eddie is an electrician for a Philadelphia based transit authority where he has been employed for 15 years working on self-propelled commuter rail cars. His hobbies include a rather serious addiction to go-cart racing which usually results in dented plastic. (But he's 5th in the points race!) He also likes to fly remote control model planes and helicopters. Eddie is a perennial student pilot who truly enjoys the challenge of flying.
On the announcer stand Fast Eddie is known as "The Voice of Fun". In the EAA Radio studio he has yet to be known for anything...redeeming.
