Jim Gray a.k.a. "Just Jim"

Jim holds the title of co-station manager of EAA Radio and heads up the technical and staff development side of the broadcasting effort. Jim has worked many years in radio, holds a BS and MA in Mass Communications at St. Cloud State University and is currently Operations Director at KVSC-FM, St. Cloud, MN (St. Cloud State’s community radio station).

Jim also serves as a lecturer in the SCSU Mass Communications department, teaching courses in radio and audio production. Through this endeavor Jim developed the EAA Radio internship program which is now in its 3rd year.

Just Jim has been attending and volunteering at AirVenture for almost 30 years; pitching in at EAA Radio since 2003. Jim is responsible for many of the recent equipment upgrades including field recording devices, signal processors, and studio accoutrements. Jim is also responsible for bringing an FM broadcast signal back to the EAA grounds.
