7 a.m. race start
AirVenture Grounds "North 40"
For the fourth year, EAA has joined with
the Oshkosh YMCA to host the EAA Runway 5K - a fun run/walk to
benefit the Oshkosh YMCA and EAA joint youth programs. Held on the
Saturday of AirVenture, July 31, participants of all ages will walk or run
the 3.1 mile route around EAA's AirVenture grounds.
Interested runners and walkers can
pre-register until 5 p.m. Thursday, July 29, online,
by mail, at the Oshkosh YMCA, at the EAA AirVenture Museum or on
AirVenture grounds at EAA's Welcome Center. Participants are encouraged to
pick up your packets on July 30 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Oshkosh YMCA, 3303
W. 20th Ave.
Race start time is 7 a.m. on Saturday, July
31. Event-day registration and packet pick-up begins at 5:30 a.m. on grounds
at the Runway 5K tent located just north of the Red Parking Lot on Wittman
Road. Free parking is available in the Red Lot until race time.

$25 entry fee*
Day of registration: $35 entry fee*
*$5 discount if you already have
your wristband (everyone must have a wristband to be on grounds)
Participants will receive: " Special
event t-shirt " Timing-chip " Complimentary snacks and water
" Saturday admission to EAA AirVenture, which includes Asleep at
the Wheel concert, night air show and fireworks display Saturday evening!
